Excuse the blurry pics. I had the camera settings set to do Christmas tree pics and never changed them. I do this way too often!
The cake. I promised Allie a Lion King cake. Nobody makes a Lion King cake. I bought a bunch of toys at WalMart and asked the cake lady to make it look like Africa. TA-DA! Pride Rock is made entirely out of frosting. And nobody would eat it either.
Allie played outside most of the morning. She chose the tutu at the last moment and I think it really worked!
Allie sat outside and watched the bounce house inflate. She quietly whispered, "oh... my... gosh."
The dads were great at helping out with the the bounce house. The moms sat on the patio furniture and ate and drank.
Ems was doted on by all 3 grandmas.
Then we opened gifts.
We were so lucky to have so many of our friends and family join us!
Hey Guillots! Close your eyes and say Cheese!
Take 2!
Allie nearly set herself on fire while blowing out the candles.
Crisis averted.
Everyone nom-nom-nomed on cake.
Cousin Christian.
Mems was near comatose by the end of the shindig.
Best bud Nolan. Allie said, "My No-nans a handsome boy" when she saw this.
If you came to the party, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES THANK YOU!!!! We had a great time and Allie told us when we put her down for a nap, "I would like to have more parties please." It was so much fun and everyone that came is so special to us! I did not get pics of everyone because taking pictures at your kids party is mega hard but we are so thankful to have such a great family and group of friends that can share in days like today. You guys are the best!
