Pumpkin Carving

Allie is in school and Emmy is babbling herself to sleep in her crib for nap so time to blog!

A few weekends ago we all got together to do our second annual family pumpkin carving competition. My parents provide all the food, beverages and supplies and we all carve our best pumpkin ideas in hopes of being voted best pumpkin. We also vote for the worst because we are mean like that. Kyle won best pumpkin and Roro won worst! Again.

This was our method to check out our pumpkins. This was La's.

From left to right: Kyles (winner), Chris, Doug, La, Zach, Mine, Ro, Jen, Al's. Mine was Ariel which looked way cooler lit up.

Allie just loves Jen.

She is so sweet to my girls.

My parents picked up dinner from Swinging Door BBQ. Emmy had her first ribs and she was hooked.

The girls know that if they eat dinner at Dodo and Roro's they get ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Allie loves them! And when I asked her what type of cake she wanted for her upcoming birthday party she just said she wanted ice cream sandwiches instead.

Emmy gets half of one. But she would probably eat an entire box if I let her. This kid can eat!
Em's and Dodo.

I took this picture the next day of Emmy with Macy. She looks like such a big girl!

And here is a picture of Allie and Emmy in their Halloween jam-jams. Allie loves that they glow in the dark and calls them her spoooooooooooky jam-jams.
