Zoo Boo

Sunday we loaded up the girlies and headed to the Houston Zoo for a little good old fashioned family Halloween fun. Allie was dressed in her Princess Belle finest and I kept Emmy in her skeleton jammies she wore the night before because I wanted to keep her comfy and happy. She will be Snow White on Halloween though. And a cute one at that!

Allie has been all about the Lion King this past week so she was very excited and knew exactly what she wanted to see. Our first stop was the elephants and when she saw one she shouted, "Daddy, Daddy look what I found!!!" She loved to lean into the wagon and explain to Emmy everything she saw. It was really sweet.

Zoo Boo has all kinds of fun stuff set up but the best part is getting to dress up. There were lots of Disney Princesses and lots of ninjas out there. Allie loved getting compliments on her dress. Here she is with her Zoo Boo tattoo.

Allie was really excited to see the tigers. Alle the animals were out and about because it was such a nice cool day. She was leaning in yelling at the tiger to go take his bath. (We had just come from the elephants taking their bathes)

And wouldn't you know it that tiger jumped in the water and started swimming around. Just what Allie needed. Another thing to boss around.

Our last stop of the day to the carousel. She went on one of the animals for the first time. She usually just wants to sit on the benches on the ride. Anyway she was super excited to get to ride on "Raffiki" from Lion King. She loved to wave to Emmy and I.

And if you know Emmy, you know she LOVES waving to people. She got such a kick out of seeing her sis go round and round, She would snort and clap her hands every time she saw her! It was really sweet!
